What Happened To Excellent Musa Walaza

Excellent Musa Walaza is a professional South Africa football player who plays primarily as a striker or a winger.

He was born in 08 April 1987 in Meadowlands Soweto.

Walaza joined Orlando Pirates youth in 2005 and worked his way into the senior Orlando Pirates team.

During the 2007/08 season was when he truly made his breakthrough and scored 8 goals during that season.

In 2009 he was loaned out to Supersport United where he made 5 appearances and scored just one goal.

In the 2009/10 season he was loaned out the Bloemfontein Celtic where he made 23 appearances and scored 3 goals.

During the 2010/11 season he was loaned out yet again this time to Vasco Da Gama.

After his return from that loan spell at Vasco Da Gama he was released from Orlando Pirates books and was a free agent.

He did join Atlie FC on a free transfer.

Senior Career

Walaza made 2 appearances for South Africa (Bafana Bafana) from 2008.

What Happened to Excellent Musa Walaza?

Before Walaza was loaned out pirate fans and players seemed to be of the impression that he was in his was a dimming star.

Which I personally find odd as during his 2008/09 season which was his breakthrough season he was the teams highest goal scorer. He was only 6 goals from the golden boot winner that season.

At the end of the 2011 season he was left without a team again.

Walaza resurfaced again at Moroka Swallows. The reports were that he was training with them to get his fitness levels back up so he can revive his career.

He wasn’t signed to Moroka Swallows and is still looking for a team.
