Enlighted Christian Gathering church leader Shepard Bushiri and wife have been granted bail of R100k each after appearing in the Pretoria Specialised Commercial Crimes Court today.
Shepard Bushiri and wife were arrested by the Hawks on last week Friday and have been in police custody since.
Today his congregants and followers were rejoicing at the news of his pending release on bail.
The Hawks’ case against the Bushiri concerns alleged offences of fraud, money laundering and contravention of the Prevention of Organised Crime Act (POCA).
The case has been postponed to the 10th of May.
