Kwaito artist Sipho Ndlovu who is popularly known as Brickz will be going home. This is after he paid bail of R80k pending the appeal against his rape conviction.
In late 2017 Brickz was found guilty of rape and was sentenced to 15 years by the court. He has since appealed the rape conviction and was granted bail of R80k.
The amount was reported raised by Brickz’s producer Grey Mafumbu.
Mafumbu also gave a statement that states “Step Ahead Productions had paid the bail from their own pocket.”
Mafumbu also said “the company paid the amount because they believed in Brickz’s innocence and that the truth will come out in time. Money doesn’t matter in this case. It is not that we support the negative things. It is about supporting Brickz.”
