Busisiwe Nolubabalo Nqwiliso is a South African singer, song writer and entrepreneur. Her latest “preneur” is a record label, but more on that later. She is commonly known by her stage name Bucie which is a lot easier to pronounce.
Bucie started singing from a young age. She even sang lead at her parent’s church choir and this wasn’t because it’s her parent’s church, but rather more because she has a voice of an angel.
She has worked with big names in the music industry such as Black coffee, Black motion, Heavy K, Zakes Bantwini, Cassper Nyovest, Donald and the Infinite Boys

She is leaving the music industry. After 10 years filled with chart topping music Bucie dropped the bomb that she will be leaving the music industry and plans to focus more on her family.
She has said that her upcoming album Rebirth will be her last. The reports are that her album will come out sometime in October 2017. I could find it so I guess I am still waiting.
Now she isn’t really leaving the music industry as she has a recording company which she plans to record female artists. She has also said she will continue to write music and maybe do a few collabo’s here and there. She might even do a performing gig if it is just right.
So is she really quitting? I suppose only time will tell.
